NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren is the projected winner in the Massachusetts U.S. Senate race against Republican challenger John Deaton in an Associated Press projection shortly after polls closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The AP has also projected Vice President Kamala Harris as the winner against former President Donald Trump in the race for the state's 11 electoral college votes.

Votes are still being counted in state and federal representative races as well as local and regional campaigns.
