Hydrant Flow Testing Starts Tuesday Night
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Discuss a book.
The Northborough Free Library offers a Fifth-Grade Book Club from 7 to 8 p.m. in the children's room.
2. Root for the Tomahawks.
Here is Tuesday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:
- Boys cross-country: vs. Leominster, 3:30 p.m.
- Girls cross-country: vs. Leominster, 3:30 p.m.
- Freshman field hockey: vs. Westborough, 4 p.m.
- JV boys soccer: vs. North Middlesex, 4 p.m.
- JV girls soccer: vs. North Middlesex, 4 p.m.
- Freshman boys soccer: at North Middlesex, 4 p.m.
- Freshman girls soccer: at North Middlesex, 4 p.m.
- JV volleyball: vs. Wachusett, 4 p.m.
- Freshman volleyball: vs. Wachusett, 4 p.m.
- Varsity boys soccer: at North Middlesex, 5 p.m.
- Varsity volleyball: vs. Wachusett, 5 p.m.
- Varsity boys soccer: at North Middlesex, 7 p.m.
The Trinity Church of Northborough offers Bible study from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
4. Donate a coat.
The 5th Annual Coat and Winter Boot Drive run by the Northborough Helping Hands Inc. in conjunction with the Northborough Mom and Tots Organization begins this week, and ends on Nov. 20.
Clean gently used children's coats, boots and snow pants may be dropped off at the Northborough Public Library and the Northborough Recreation Office.
The donations will be distributed to Northborough families in need.
5. Hydrant flow testing is set for Tuesday night.
Hydrant flow testing will occur in Northborough on Tuesday, starting at 9 p.m., according to the town's website.
