Community Affairs Committee Plans Final Summer Events

Events are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 11 and Thursday, Aug. 25.

On Thursday, Aug. 11, there will be a concert by Eclipse at Ellsworth-McAfee Park (Rt. 135) in Northborough from 6-9 p.m. Rain date will be August 21, from 5-7 p.m. Eclipse is a Boston based band that covers everything from Pink Floyd and Paul Simon to Jason Aldean and Stone Temple Pilots, the Killers to U2, Kiss and Gin Blossoms.

At the last concert our food trucks were a huge hit. On Aug. 11, we will have the following Food Trucks at the concert: Say Cheese, Archies On a Roll and Bit’Chin BBQ. Cocobeni Confections will be selling delicious baked goods, and the Juniper Farms Ice Cream Truck will arrive at 7 p.m. A balloon artist from Hop N Jump will entertain the children.
