Congratulate Northborough Police Administrative Assistant Karen Mueller

1. Congratulate Northborough Police Administrative Assistant Karen Mueller.

She completed the U.S. Marine Corps Marathon over the weekend, according to the Northborough Police Facebook page.

2. Northorough's involvement in National Drug Take-Back Day was successful.

Also from the Northborough Police Facebook page:

"Wrap-up on National Drug Take-Back Day: We had approximately fifty residents take advantage of the program and we filled four large boxes with old, unneeded prescription medications, which will now be safely disposed of. We appreciate the kind words received from our residents and we will continue to participate in this important program in the future. Thanks to Lieutenant Bill Lyver, Sergeant Demos Agiomavritis and Dispatcher Chris Carleton for working the booth today!"

3. In case you missed it: Sharps disposal program starts.

Needles, syringes and lancets used for household purposes can now be disposed safely, for free, at a Northborough pharmacy.
 
4. Melican Middle School hosts a parent technology night.

It's from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

5. Root for the Tomahawks.
