Rescheduled: Hearing On Hazardous Waste Storage Facility
The company is looking to modify the site to acommodate this transfer facility.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The Northborough Board of Health is holding public hearing to consider a request for a modification to the site in town granted to Zecco for a hazardous waste storage transfer facility located at 345 West Main St.
The applicant's name is Tradebe Treatment and Recycling of Northborough.
The public hearing takes place at 6 p.m. on July 10 (this was originally scheduled June 12) in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at Town Hall.

Tradebe is proposing to modify the current site in order to change from storage of about 40,000 gallons of hazardous waste in above-ground tanks with transfer off-site for treatment, recycling and disposal to a proposed 5-day Transfer Facility at which unopened containers will be transferred from one truck to another truck in a roofed containment area.
There will be no consolidation, processing or outside storage. The facility will operate Monday
through Sunday, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tradebe transfers the containers by truck to off-site
licensed treatment, recycling and disposal facilities.

The application for the modification is available for review during regular business hours
at the Northborough Board of Health Office at Town Hall and at the Northborough Free Library.
Written comments will be accepted by the Northborough Board of Health in advance of the public hearing when delivered to the Board of Health at the address listed above by no later than 11 a.m. on June 6.
