Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Learn about special education.
NSPAC holds a Welcome Back Coffee at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Algonquin Regional High School.
2. Learn about history.
Tom Kelleher will present “Peddling Your Wares: A Look at the Itinerant Merchant in Early 19th Century New England” during the Northborough Historical Society's first monthly meeting of the season, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a pot luck supper.
3. Play cribbage.
The Northborough Senior Center offers cribbage at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
4. Try quilting.
The Northborough Senior Center offers quilting at 1 p.m. Friday.
5. Root for the Tomahawks.

- Varsity field hockey: vs. Quabbin, 4 p.m.
- Freshman girls soccer: vs. Hudson, 4 p.m.
- JV volleyball: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
- Freshman volleyball: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
- JV field hockey: vs. Quabbin, 5 p.m.
- Varsity volleyball: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 5 p.m.
- Varsity football: at North Middlesex, 7 p.m.
