The Northborough Food Pantry Really Needs This Stuff Right Now

The pantry needs canned corn, soup, mayo and quite a few other items to bulk up its offerings.

NORTHBOROUGH, MAβ€”After the holidays pass by and the winter doldrums set in, people forget about giving...and those in need. The Northborough Food Pantry accepts and appreciates donations year-round, and most recently posted a plea for certain items to fill its shelves.

The pantry is running low on:

  • Dry Pasta
  • Canned Beans
  • Tuna
  • Whole grain cerealsβ€”hot or cold
  • Granola bars, whole grain crackers and other healthy snacks
  • Rice and rice mixes in boxes
  • Canned fruit in natural juice
  • Multipacks of single serving fruit and applesauce
  • Canned stews and pasta meals (like Spaghettios)
  • Shelf stable milk, powdered milk and juice boxes
  • Mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, salad dressing
  • Microwavable shelf stable meals
  • Personal care itemsβ€”toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, soap
  • Soup (all varieties except tomato)
  • Canned corn
  • Peanut butter and jelly
