Sierra Outdoor Store Opening At Northborough Crossing Shopping Center

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — The discount outdoor retailer Sierra will open its newest location this weekend at the Northborough Crossing shopping center along Route 20.

The Saturday grand opening will feature entertainment with Mix 104.1 DJs, giveaways and games. The radio station will also be giving away a $100 Sierra gift card in the days leading up to the grand opening.

Sierra is the outdoor brand by Framingham-based TJX Companies, which also owns the Marshalls, HomeGoods, T.J.Maxx and Homesense stores in Northborough Crossing. Similar to those stores, Sierra sells brand-name outdoor goods from companies like Merrell, Oakley and The North Face, but at discounted prices.

This will be the third Sierra store in Massachusetts outside locations in Framingham and Newton.

The Northborough Sierra opening starts at 8 a.m. Saturday in a retail space north of the Wegmans. The store will be open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
