South Grafton Man Charged in Northborough Assault

A South Grafton resident faces assault charges after Northborough Police arrested him on Monday.

Northborough Police arrested Philip Billington, 45, of 162 Main St., Apt. 3 South Grafton, on Spruce Hill Drive at 7:41 a.m., and charged him with two counts of domestic assault and battery, and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, according to the Northborough Police log.

On Monday, at 3:40 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on East Main Street.

At 4:30 a.m., police assisted the fire department with an automatic fire alarm activation on Forbes Road.

At 10:38 a.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a deceased animal by the roadside. The Massachusetts Highway Department was notified.

At 11:17 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Reservoir Street.

At 11:50 a.m., police received a report from Bartlett Street of a loose dog by the roadway. The dog was returned to its owner.

At 12:53 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a lift assist on Centre Drive.

At 1 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Chapin Street.

At 2:15 p.m., police received a report from West Main Street of stolen medication.

At 3:51 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Main Street.

At 4:02 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Deacon Street.

At 6:28 p.m., police received a report from Brody Way of harassment by a contractor.

At 10:29 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a grill fire on Reservoir Street.

At 10:34 p.m., police assisted the fire department with an alarm investigation on Forbes Road.

On Tuesday, at 12:41 a.m., police assisted the fire department with an automatic fire alarm activation on Forbes Road.

At 7:55 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on West Main Street.
