Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Thursday, July 18 in the North End.

2. Family Night on the Prado: The North End Music and Performing Arts Center is offering a free summer concert series on the Prado (Paul Revere Mall off Hanover Street). The July 18 event will be Family Night on the Prado, with stories, songs and secrets of the North End. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. Learn more at nempacboston.org.
3. Free art: Admission to the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (100 Northern Ave.) is free to all ages every Thursday from 5-9 p.m.

4. Shakespeare on the Common: Commonwealth Shakespeare Company offers free Shakespeare On The Common throughout the month of July. Upcoming performances of “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” are scheduled for July 18 at 1 p.m., July 21 at 7 p.m. and July 23-26 at 8 p.m. For reserved chairs and to order picnic boxes, visit www.commshakes.org.
5. Walk to End Alzheimer’s: Volunteers are needed for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Boston Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, Sept. 29, beginning at Canal Park at the CambridgeSide Galleria in Cambridge. Money raised by Walk to End Alzheimer’s helps to provide care and support for individuals and families touched by Alzheimer’s and to fund Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
