
It was a busy week in the North End.
The most important news we received was from Mayor Thomas Menino who urged all Boston residents to get a flu shot.
North End Waterfront Health on Hanover Street came to the rescue and offered a flu clinic on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Hopefully, residents took advantage of it and are now immunized.

We also spoke to John Romano who has done so much for the North End.
The Public Safety meeting was informative with Captain Thomas Lee, Sgt. Thomas Lema and Officer Teddy Boyle letting residents know that crime is down in the North End.

And it was our pleasure to go to Nolle Volle and watch Torri Crowell show us chocolate chip cookies and describe the Hanover Street restaurant’s history. On February 2, Volle Nolle will celebrate seven years in the North End.
