North Ender Running Marathon for Pine Street Inn
John Collura will raise $5,000 to help the shelter's efforts to end homelessness.

John Collura, a North End resident, is running the 2013 Boston Marathon in support of Pine Street Inn. In addition to running 26.2 miles, John is also committed to raising $5,000 for Pine Street’s mission to end homelessness.
John is a member of the Council for Pine Street Inn, helping to organize events throughout the year and volunteering to serve meals to guests during the holidays. John also ran the Boston Marathon on Team Pine Street in 2011 and 2012 and is grateful to be in a position to benefit such an important cause.
As a recognized charity of the John Hancock Non-Profit Boston Marathon Program, Pine Street was awarded eight official entries for this year’s marathon. With a collective fundraising goal of $40,000, the team is instrumental in the “race to end homelessness.”
