North Reading Resident Receives Award For Outstanding Service At Middlesex District Attorney’s Office

In honor of her exemplary service to the Office of the Middlesex District Attorney, Christina Lucci, of North Reading, was presented with the John F. Kerry Leadership Award at a ceremony held in Woburn, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone announced.

The John F. Kerry Leadership Award is named in honor of the United States Secretary of State John F. Kerry, a former Middlesex First Assistant District Attorney. The award is presented each year to a member of the District Attorney’s management team for demonstrating extraordinary leadership in his/her supervisory position. Secretary Kerry was present at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Woburn central office on January 31, 2013 and he personally congratulated the award recipients.

Lucci is an Assistant District Attorney and recently promoted to Superior Court. She was previously the Supervisor of Lowell District Court.

“Christina has been a true team leader in an extremely busy district court,” District Attorney Leone said. “Christina’s leadership begins with a team focus, where she works to guide and assist other Assistant District Attorneys on prosecutions. With her strong work ethic and team leadership, her efforts have made Christina highly respected by court personnel, the police and her Middlesex District Attorney’s Office colleagues. Christina’s exceptional dedication to the office, her colleagues and the victims she works with underscore why she is a recipient of the John F. Kerry Leadership Award.”

The annual Middlesex District Attorney’s Awards Ceremony was held on January 10, 2013 at Woburn Memorial High School in Woburn.  The office has a proud legacy of exemplary service to the people of Middlesex County, and the series of awards are named in honor of many of the former members of the office.
