Annual Property Measuring Beginning in North Reading

The Town of North Reading is beginning its annual property measure and listing this week.

The North Reading Assessor’s Office announced it will be starting its annual property measure and listing of properties around town.

The measure and inspection will be performed by a private contractor hired by the town, Paula Berry. If a resident is not home when Berry conducts her inspection, she will measure the exterior of the home and leave a notice to contact the Assessor’s Office and set up an appointment for an interior inspection, according to the Town of North Reading.

Interior inspections take between 10 and 15 minutes and are important to make sure the town has the correct data on record, North Reading officials said.
