Car, Mailbox Vandalized With Dog Food and Shaving Cream

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Friday, August 23

  • At 9:17 a.m., a Chestnut Street resident reported that her purse was stolen from her vehicle the night before.
  • At 11:32 a.m., a Park Street resident reported that her vehicle was broken into.

  • At 8:14 a.m., a Strawberry Lane resident reported that her mailbox was covered in shaving cream and dog food placed inside it.
  • At 9:36 p.m., a Lindor Road resident reported that his car had shaving cream and dog food on the side of it.   

Sunday, August 25

  • At  11:43 a.m., a caller reported a three-car accident on Main Street. Two cars were towed from the scene.
