The selectmen approved an amendment to the Resorts North, formerly the Thomson Country Club, liquor license Monday, which allows alcohol to be served by the pool. A couple of residents attended the meeting Monday and expressed their concern about liquor near pools. Owner of Resorts North Nick Yebba, Sr. explained that he will have lifeguards on duty and that both the lifeguards and those serving the alcohol will receive the proper training for this type of situation.
