Five Things to Know Today: March 20

Today is Wednesday, March 20. Here are five things to know today:

1. First day of Spring. It may not feel like it, but today is the first day of Spring! There is a chance of flurries before 9 a.m. Expect partly sunny skies, with a high near 41.   

2. Hillview Commission. The Hillview Commission will meet at the Hillview Country Club at 6:30 p.m. Review revenue and expenditures are both items on the agenda.

3. NRMS paper. Did you know that the North Reading Middle School has their own newspaper? Take a look at the Spectrum.

4. Job opening. The Reading Police Department is looking for a Public Safety Dispatcher. The job pays $18.26 per hour and applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, excellent communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
