The tournament is Monday, June 17.

The Horseshoe Grille's Annual Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament is Monday, June 17 at 8 a.m. The tournament will take place at the Hillview Country Club and all of the proceeds go to the Jimmy Fund.

According to owner of the Horseshoe Grille Pat Lee, this it the 28th tournament. Lee and his family have been working with the Jimmy Fund as a family and business for 58 years, he said. They have donated "almost $500,000 in our history."

All of the participants will play in memory of a local resident.

"This year’s tournament is dedicated to a local resident who lost her fight against cancer, Rosanne Ameno," Lee said.

The cost is $150 per golfer and sponsorships are $200. If a sponsorship is combined with a team of four, the cost is $750, according to Lee. Every team of four wins a prize. There are still spots for players and sponsors.

"We enjoy putting on the tournament because we know virtually everyone has been touched by cancer and we hope in some small way we can help eliminate the deadly disease," Lee said.
