Local Athletes Earn All-League Honors

A number of North Reading athletes recently earned All-League honors in the Cape Ann Leauge, according to reports.

The following girls from the North Reading girls tennis team earned All-League honors in the Cape Ann League, according to a report from the Eagle Tribune:

• First doubles team of Meghan Carlo and Kaylin Scher.
• Second doubles team of Jennifer Crotty and Meghan Griffin.

The North Reading girls also won the Cape Ann League Kinney Division Championship this year, the report said.

Additionally, Alex McGeachie was named to the CAL All-Star second team, according to a separate report from the Eagle Tribune.
