Main Street Dunkins Closed for Two Weeks for Remodeling

The Dunkin' Donuts at 293 Main Street will soon have a new drive-through window, outdoor seating and more.

The Dunkin' Donuts at 293 Main St. will be closed starting Monday, May 20 for remodeling, according to the Community Planning Department. The site plan review was approved last week.

After the work is complete, the coffee shop will have a new drive-through window and the outdoor landscaped area will be converted to a patio with seating for 19 people, Marketing Manager Theresa Forte said. The interior will also be remodeled. After the work is complete, the shop will feature seating for 29 guests with interior booths, large flat-screen televisions and free Wi-Fi.

The menu will be the same, with the exception of a few new items including the Berry Blast Coolatta and turkey sausage breakfast sandwich, and will be displayed on a digital menu board, according to a recent release.

The coffee shop will be closed for about two weeks, Forte said. There is not a definite date set for the reopening.

"We anticipate that the store will be closed for about two weeks to complete the renovations. To better serve our guests while we are closed for the remodel, we invite them to visit our Dunkin’ Donuts location just down the street at 13 Main St. in North Reading," Forte said.
