New Gas Station, Used Car Lot Proposed for Former Best Gas

The location of the former Best Gas, which closed in 2014, may soon get another station.

A proposal before the Community Planning Commission would open another gas station at 142-144 Main St., and put an office trailer and fencing to the left of the station to sell used cars. The cars would be parked at the right of the station. There are five parking spots proposed.

The CPC plans to discuss the proposal at its Tuesday meeting at Town Hall. There is a public hearing planned for 8 p.m.
