North Reading Resident Invited to Play in Dan Duquette Baseball Tournament

Chadem Felix will play in the tournament Memorial Day weekend.

Twelve-year-old North Reading resident Chadem Felix was invited to play in the Dan Duquette Baseball Tournament this year.

Felix will play in the tournament, which is said to be the most competitive in the NorthEast, on Memorial Day weekend. Felix is an RBI hitter and first baseman of the SNH Reds AAU baseball team, Stars and Stripes National baseball team and a member of the North Reading Little League Majors.

When asked, Felix said he is excited to be given so many opportunities to play baseball at this level.

Felix will play for the SNH Reds against more than 20 teams on-site at the Dan Duquette Sports Academy. The lakefront academy has four fields and is located in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. The design of the facility was based on the Red Sox Training Facility.

Felix will play a five-game minimum tournament on the 90 foot bases field. He will train at the RAMS Athletic Complex and participate in clinics to prepare.
