Obituary: Dorothy T. Jackson, Former Longtime Resident, Great Grandmother

Dorothy T. Jackson, a former longtime North Reading resident, died on Friday, July 3. She was 79 years old.

Jackson, born in Boston on Jan. 9, 1936, was a former North Reading resident for many years and a member of St. Theresa’s Church. She died at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Friday.

Jackson was a mother to six children, a grandmother to 12 grandchildren and great grandmother to seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St. in North Reading, on Wednesday, July 8 at 9:15 a.m. A funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Windsor St. in North Reading, will follow.
