It's that most wonderful time of the year — the annual Barenaked Ladies concert in Boston! The Ladies performed at "Harborlights" (now known as the Bank of America Pavilion) July 16, along with Boothby Graffoe and Ben Folds Five.
For my sister and I, the show was our 30th, something I was able to tell the band prior to the performance. Ed Robertson, the lead singer, jokingly asked if he had been at all of those shows too and I said I thought he had. He said he's been in BNL for 25 years, longer than he hasn't. And actually, I've been going to see Barenaked Ladies for 17 years, longer than I haven't. Wow.
The awesome thing is that over the years, I've met a fantastic crowd of fans that are my "BNL Friends" and we get to see each other at the live shows. Great music, terrific friends, meet and greet... all made for a perfect evening. Enjoy the photos above! For a full set of photos, click here.

*Curious where the title of this post came from? "Odds Are" is one of the singles from BNL's latest album "Grinning Streak."
