Two lanes will be closed on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in Lynnfield and Wakefield between Exit 43 (Walnut Street) and Exit 38 (Route 28) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
The lane closures will allow work crews to install pavement markings. MassDOT said the work was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but has been cancelled because of the rain.
“MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. Drivers that must travel through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone,” said MassDOT.

“The work is part of a $10.7 million project to resurface and rehabilitate this section of Route I-95,” said MassDOT.
