1. Ginger Gourmet is Now Open. Ginger Gourmet, a restaurant featuring Asian cuisine, is now open in the Stop & Shop plaza. The menu features both Chinese and Japanese food. The chef's specialties consist of coconut jumbo shrimp, crispy orange flavored chicken, crispy sesame beef and more.

2. Newsweek Names North Reading High School as 921 High School in USA. Newsweek has ranked North Reading High School as the 921 high school in the country.

3. NRHS Juniors Selling Wristbands to Benefit the One Fund. After the marathon bombings and death of North Reading resident Tim Chaloux, Peter Psallidas, like many others, felt helpless. The North Reading High School junior decided to take action and do something to help those hurt by the bombings. With the help of his friend Ryan Sanborn, the pair ordererd Boston Strong wristbands to raise money for the One Fund.

4. Hornets Baseball Keeps Rolling Along With Tuesday Win. En route to a state championship win last season, the North Reading High School baseball team posted modest numbers at the plate. This year, the Hornets have found their offensive groove, and the results in the standings have been more of the same so far.
