Water Department Issues Water Service Advisory
The cold weather over the next few days could cause water service lines to freeze.

The North Reading Water Department is warning that cold weather over the next few days could cause frost in the ground and potentially cause water service line problems.
“A frozen service line will stop water service to your home. In order to prevent your service line from freezing, the Water Department recommends allowing one faucet to trickle slowly during periods of low water use, such as overnight or when the house is vacant during the day. This practice of trickling one faucet should continue until average daytime temperatures begin to rise above freezing.”
