WEATHER UPDATE: More Rain In North Reading This Weekend?

This weekend, residents can expect more rain to make its way to North Reading this weekend, according to weather forecasters.

Saturday is expected to be mostly clear, with a high temperature in the mid-70s. Conditions will change to rain and patchy fog on Saturday night, with a 90 percent chance of rain after 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

More rain is expected on Sunday, with a 90 percent of showers and thunderstorms after noon, the NWS said. The high temperature will be near 70 degrees. The chance of rain will drop to 20 percent on Sunday night.

• Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
• Saturday Night: Rain, mainly after 11 p.m. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog after midnight. Low around 58. East wind 7 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
• Sunday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 70. East wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
• Sunday Night: A slight chance of showers before 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
