3. 2013 Pokémon Spring Regional Championships

Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players, their supporters and Pokémon fans from around the North East are invited to attend the 2013 Pokémon Spring Regional Championships the weekend of April 13 and 14. Gillette Stadium is hosting the free event where competitors will vie for the coveted title of Pokémon Spring Regional Champion and travel awards to the 2013 Pokémon U.S. Nationals Championships, taking place July 5 to 7 in Indianapolis, Ind. The Pokémon TCG Regional Championship begin Saturday, April 13 at 9 a.m. while the Video Game Championship will be held in its entirety on Sunday, April 14 starting at 11 a.m. Players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate in the family-friendly event. 4. National Grid receives Exemplary Program Award

National Grid announced that the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), a nonprofit research group based in Washington, D.C., has recognized three of National Grid’s energy efficiency programs – Low-Income Retrofit, Small Business and EnergyWise programs as exemplary programs. The exemplary program awards are part of a national awards program designed to recognize and profile America’s leading utility-sector energy efficiency programs.
