During April vacation, EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton is hosting a number of activities for local school kids and their families. Today, there will be a painting demo at 1:15 p.m. Afterward, feel free to stick around to celebrate April birthdays with a performance by vocalist Jennifer Mello at 2:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all. 2. National Library Week

This week, Norton Public Library joins libraries in schools, campuses and communities nationwide in celebrating National Library Week, a time to highlight the value of libraries, librarians and library workers. To read more, click here.
3. Birding
Join Mass Audubon, 108 North St., Norfolk, to relax and do some birding. Record every species you find and also make special note of species with Red, White and Blue colors/plumage or that have a variation of those primary colors in their name(s). This program is 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $44.
4. Tax day
