The 2013 Norton candidates forum for Selectmen and School Board seats will be held 7 to 9 p.m. at the VFW in Norton. This is open to the public but seating is limited. To secure your seat RSVP to nortonrtc@gmail.com. Sponsored by the Norton Republican Town Committee

2. Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers meetings are held at Epoch held every Wednesday at 6 p.m. and new members are being sought. The meeting is an "at work" format and about four more people are needed in order to meet the minimum. The cost is $39.95 per month. 3. Learning Express storytime

A free storytime and activity will be held at Learning Express, 280 School St., Mansfield, 11 a.m. Seating is limited.

5. High near 67, low around 47

Today there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 a.m. Patchy fog is expected before 7 a.m. Otherwise, it will be cloudy, then will gradually become mostly sunny, with a high near 67. North wind will be 6 to 9 mph. Tonight there is a 30 percent chance of showers between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., then a chance of thunderstorms. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. There will be increasing clouds, with a low around 47. South wind will be 8 to 10 mph.
