1. Create & Decorate a Chocolate House
Local chocolatier Beth Schillawski will demonstrate how to make a miniature chocolate house at 1:30 p.m. This delicious confection would make a perfect gift for a loved one—or yourself.
2. Employment Support Group of Norton
This group is for people seeking employment. Get help with resume design, networking skills, interviewing skills and mentor support. The group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the church parlor. The group is open to all. For more information email Bill Lippincott at lippin55@comcast.net.
3. Nature Ramblers Holiday Craft Days
Join Oak Knoll Sanctuary,1417 Park St., Attleboro, for a special two hour session of Nature Rambler with stories and special holiday crafts such as a gingerbread house, holiday decorations such as cinnamon bird ornaments and more. This program is for ages 3.5 to 6 years old. Registration is required.
4. Energy Efficiency Advisory Council representative nominations wanted
Massachusetts Nonprofit Network (MNN), the statewide organization representing the nonprofit sector, is seeking nominations for a representative to the state’s Energy Efficiency Advisory Council. The Council, established as part of the Green Communities Act in 2008, reviews and approves the three-year energy efficiency plans prepared by the Commonwealth’s gas and electric distribution companies and approved municipal aggregators.
