1. No school, fundraiser

In observance of Good Friday, there will be no school. Stop by Roche Bros to support the Class of 2013 for their grad party fundraiser.

2. Good Friday Day Camp

New Testament Baptist Church will hold a Good Friday Day Camp 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The free event will include games, arts and crafts, an Easter Bible story, music, a movie, an Easter egg hunt and lunch. To register call Jan at 508-285-9771.

3. Family concert

Norton Public Library will host a family concert featuring Stacy Lake at 10 a.m. No registration is required.       

4. Krisanthi Pappas performance

EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Norton will welcome back local jazz, cabaret and pop vocalist Krisanthi Pappas at 1:30 p.m. Pappas is a multi-talented musician who plays piano and drums and writes musical arrangements. She has shared the stage with an impressive array of jazz musicians, including Branford Marsalis, Chuck Mangione, The Yellowjackets and others. This performance is free and open to the public. 5. High near 47, low around 32

Today there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 55. Calm wind will become northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Tonight there is also a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northwest wind will be around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
