2. Easter egg hunt

Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary will offer a relaxed, non-competitive hunt March 31 noon to 3 p.m., where each child can walk through the Winslow Nature Trail to find colorful eggs at their own pace. Children are limited to 10 eggs per child. Eggs will then be brought to volunteers to trade in for a candy surprise. Before or after the hunt, you can tour the entire sanctuary and meet all of the animals, play on the playground or simply sit by the fire, chat and enjoy the day. This event is subject to weather conditions. Admission to this is event is $10 for adults, $5 for children. Save $1 when you use your AAA membership. Don’t forget to bring a basket.

3. Questionairy

Come play Questionairy at the Last Shot Bar and Grill in Stoughton every Sunday night from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. It's a trivia game, with a twist. Questions are asked and participants try and guess the most popular answers. Prizes will vary from week to week depending on the amount of teams, the more teams, the better the prizes! Mention you heard about this event on Patch, to T.J. Al, and receive 5 bonus points. Also, check out the Last Shot's Facebook page on Sunday's to get clues for that evening's game.

4. Tips to limit allergens

Dr. Ted Myatt, Sc.D., a microbiologist and senior scientist at Needham-based consulting firm Environmental Health and Engineering, Inc. recommends reducing the presence of allergens in the home by using appliances like HEPA vacuums and air purifiers to limit the amount of airborne allergens.

Here are other simple steps that allergy-sufferers can take to limit their exposure:

·         Saving Outdoor Exercise for the Afternoon and Evening

·         Wearing Sunglasses to Protect Eyes

·         Showering & Changing Clothes After Being Outside

·         Keeping Windows Closed

5. High near 55, low around 30

Today there is a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 4 p.m. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. It will be mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Light south wind will increase to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Tonight there is a 70 percent chance of rain, mainly before 11 p.m. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Otherwise, it will be cloudy, with a low around 40.
