No Means Yes will rock out to songs of a variety of genre’s 9:30 p.m. to close at Trinity Bar & Restaurant. Cover is $3 at 9 p.m.
2. Home Construction Expo
Bristol County Savings Bank will hold a free educational Home Construction Expo for those who want to learn more about the construction and remodeling process and how to finance that dream home or addition. The Expo will take place 9 a.m. to noon at The Chateau, 48 Bay Road, Norton. The Home Construction Expos will feature local builders, contractors, modular home companies and realtors who will provide insight on each stage of the construction and remodeling process and answer any specific questions from attendees. Bristol County Savings Bank will have mortgage consultants available to answer questions on home financing options and programs. Seminars will also be conducted throughout the morning on topics which will include financing options for both new construction and home remodeling projects. Refreshments, raffles and door prizes will be offered. No reservations are required. For more information call 800-643-2272.
3. Appraisal Day at Fuller Craft Museum
This is an opportunity for you to bring the furniture, artwork, keepsakes and other "treasures" hiding in your house to Fuller Craft Museum, 455 Oak St., Brockton, for a verbal appraisal. Experts from Grogan & Company Fine Art Auctioneers and Appraisers will be at the Fuller Craft Museum for the day. This event starts 10 a.m. and admission is $5.
4. Donations needed for It Takes a Community
Donations and sponsorships are still being sought for the It Takes a Community Kathy Bailey Memorial Basketball Game. Concession items such as water, soda and candy are also needed to be sold the night of the event. All proceeds benefit Norton families dealing with a serious illness or the loss of a parent. There are over 10 families on the list to assist this year. For tickets, fill out the attached form and bring to Norton Public Schools.
