1. Give and Go yard sale

The Give and Go yard sale will take place 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Clark Center of Wheaton College. All proceeds benefit Norton Public Schools, The ARC of NBC, Homes with Hearts and The Norton VFW veterans. Help is needed Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information email sss@wheatoncollege.edu or call 508-286-3370.

2. Build a Bracelet fundraiser

EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton will host the Build a Bracelet fundraiser on Thursday, May 23 at 9 a.m. with Ted’s Build a Bracelet. This event will help raise money for EPOCH’s Resident Council Fund, which in part welcomes new residents to the community and provides residents with holiday gifts.  This event is free and open to the public. 3. Recreational softball

Join in a non-competitive softball game in a pick-up format with teams forming each Thursday evening through Aug. 8, 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Memorial Park, Mansfield. Program is for ages 18 and older. Cost is $25 for Mansfield residents and $35 for non-residents.

5. High near 78, low around 60

Today there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Tonight there is an 80 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm after midnight. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. Patchy fog is expecting after 9 p.m. Temperature low will be around 60. South wind will be 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
