1. Memorial Day assemblies

The second grade students at J. C. Solmonese Elementary School will be performing in a Memorial Day assembly on at 2:15 p.m.  Children are asked to wear appropriate red, white, and blue clothing. All second grade parents are invited to attend. L.G. Nourse is having a Memorial Day Concert at 12:45 p.m.

Norton Parks and Recreation is selling raffle tickets for two competition round ticket booklets to help support this year’s Founder's Day Picnic and fireworks. If interested in selling or purchasing them email Sheri Cohen at sljm.cohen@comcast.net.

3. Beer tasting

Landry Liquors, 134 Central Ave., Seekonk, will hold a free beer tasting and pairings session 4 to 7 p.m. For more information call 508-399-7171.
