1. Norton Founders Day Picnic meeting

Volunteers are needed to help make this year's picnic a great success like in the past. Tonight’s meeting will take place 7 p.m. at the VFW.

2. Teen Tuesdays and Writer’s Group meeting

Middle and high school students are welcome to Teen Tuesdays in the Norton Public Library community room. Each week starting 3:30 p.m., play board games, wii, watch a movie, try out a craft project, clean up the library park or help decorate the children's room. No registration is required, but a parental permission slips must be signed if parents choose not to remain in the library building during our event. At 6 p.m., the Writer’s Group will meet. Bring some of your work to share, get feedback, and discuss the joys and challenges of writing. All writers welcome.

3. $1 Burger Night

Tuesdays are $1 Burger Night at Bar Louie,  232 Patriot Place, Foxborough starting 5 p.m.

5. High near 78, low around 56

Today there will be increasing clouds with a high near 78. There will be light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Tonight there will be an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Low will be around 56. South wind will be 6 to 10 mph.
