Assault and Battery, Destruction of Property, and Intoxicated on a Bus

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 10:

8:07 a.m. - Old Colony Rd.

A landlord at 391 Old Colony Rd. reported a past verbal and physical assault from an employee of one of his tenants. A report was taken.

6:39 p.m. - Arnold Palmer Blvd.

A caller at the golf course reported that as he was leaving the clubhouse, four youths all dressed in black ran off to the woodline. Police spoke to the caller, who reported all buildings are locked and secure. There have been no recent incidents of vandalism.

7:38 p.m. - Reservoir St.'

Andrea Pelley, 24, of 16 Rock Ln. was arrested for suspicion of failure to yield to a pedestrian, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and shoplifting.

9:09 p.m. - Kensington Rd.

Richard White, 62, of 25 Kensington Rd. was arrested for suspicion of assault and battery.

Dec. 11

7:17 a.m. - W. Main St.

Daniel Bernier, 25, of 269 W. Main St. was arrested for suspicion of assault and battery, destruction of property over $250, larceny under $250, and witness intimidation.

4:59 p.m. - Old Colony Rd.

Police responded to a GATRA bus driver who pulled over because two intoxicated males were on the bus.

Kevin Egan, 56, of 169 Knight Ave. Apt. 214, Attleboro was placed into protective custody.

Robert Rowell, 49, of 95 Pine St. was placed into protective custody.
