Car Accidents, Stolen Grate and Stolen Car Battery
The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 29:
2:10 p.m. - W. Main St.
A caller reported he was at a car wash and drove over an open grate. The incident caused front end damage and tire damage to his car. Police contacted the owner and the owner said the grate was apparently stolen. The area around the grate was roped off.
Oct. 31
1:46 a.m. - W. Main St.
A caller reported he was just involved in an accident in front of Hess. He reported there was front end damage to his vehicle. One person was transported to the hospital as a result of the accident.
5:07 p.m. - E. Main St.
A caller reported she was in a motor vehicle accident off of the 495 exit on Route 123. No injuries were reported in the accident. A report was taken.
10:06 p.m. - S. Worcester St.
Numerous calls came in reporting fireworks in the area of 152, 163, and 185 S. Worcester St. Callers said they were possibly lit from an abandoned foundation. Both parties were advised of their options.
Nov. 1
5:07 p.m. - Lincoln St.
Police received reports of a battery stolen out of a vehicle. Services were rendered.
