Up until now, Norton was the only high school in the MIAA’s Tri Valley League without a hockey program. The organization intends on joining the league by the 2015-16 season.
“These appointments will get the program off to a great start,” Martes said. “I want to thank principal Megan Lafayette, athletic director Nathaniel Gorbet and Norton Hockey Boosters president Rick Palin for their outstanding work during the screening and interview process.”
