Norton's Weather: Rain to Come Wednesday, Thursday

Althought we will continue to see spring weather in Norton throughout Monday and Tuesday, don't expect that to continue throughout the whole week.

Wednesday will see a much different weather pattern.

"Blocking high pressure finally leaves New England and allows storminess in the south to move up into our part of the world in the form of clouds & a few showers," wrote WHDH's Jeremy Reiner in his weather blog. "The storm will be a bit of a slow mover so most of Wednesday will be dry with showers holding off until late day. Of course, this slow-moving storm will keep the chance of rain here in New England quite high for the entire day on Thursday. Temps,  naturally,  take a hit on Thursday struggling to reach 60."

• Tonight: Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
• Tuesday Night: Patchy fog after 2am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 48. South wind 3 to 6 mph.
• Wednesday: A chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. Southeast wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
• Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Thursday: Showers likely, mainly before 11am. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 68. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
• Thursday Night: A chance of showers. Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 51. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
