Former Norton Woman Arrested for Breaking Into Old House
Where arrests are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

A former Norton resident was placed under arrest for breaking and entering and trespassing in her previous home Monday night.
At around 5:15 p.m., Norton Police Department responded to W. Hodges Street for a report of a suspicious person who parked their vehicle and walked to a nearby residence while carrying a ladder. Upon arrival, officers observed a female, identified as Jamie Carini, 34, of Park Place, Raynham, walking away from 91 Hodges Street, carrying boxes. After a brief investigation, officers discovered that Carini had entered the residence and removed items.

Carini was a tenant at the residence until September, when a new family moved in. The residence was condemned by the Norton Board of Health prior to Monday’s incident however, so no one is currently living there.
“She claimed to be removing some of her items from the attic, but since she hasn't lived there for so long and someone living there after her, her story didn't add up,” said Norton Police Lieutenant Todd Jackson.

Carini was placed under arrest by Patrolman Bryan King and Sergeant John Eisnor. She was charged with breaking and entering and trespassing. Carini was held on $500 cash bail and will appear in the Attleboro District Court on Tuesday.
