Richard R. LaPorte, 67, of Stratford Road, Seekonk, died April 19, 2013. he lived in Seekonk for 41 years and Conway, N.H. for 20 years. Mr. LaPorte, a mechanical contractor, was the co-founder of Environmental Systems Inc., Attleboro for 31 years before retiring in 2007. Richard was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He was a member of the Seekonk Knights of Columbus Council #5108 and the National Association of Eagle Scouts. For the complete obituary click here.

Brian Pardey Sr.

Brian P. "Hammer" Pardey Sr., 58, of Attleboro, died April 17, 2013. He graduated from Attleboro High School in 1974 and was inducted in to the Attleboro area Hall of Fame in 1988. Pardey was a construction supervisor for more than 17 years at the Home worker Company Inc. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Attleboro and a former member of the Bristol Lodge of North Attleboro. For the complete obituary click here.

 

Louise Lynch

Louise (Tobin) Lynch, 92, of Norton, formerly of Roslindale, died April 22, 2013. She was a graduate of Girls' Latin-1939 and Boston Clerical-1941; U.S. Army Dept. of Ordnance - WWII. Louise was an administrator at Norton Head Start, worked in development at Wheaton College, a self-employed accountant and treasurer of the Norton Public Library for more than 25 years. In 2002, the Norton Town Report was dedicated to her. She was a member of Norton Historical Society and Norton Catholic Women’s Club. For the complete obituary click here.

 

William Bystrom

William T. Bystrom, 92, of Chatham, died April 11, 2013. He was a member of the Covenant Congregational Church in Brockton and North Easton. He was a certified gemologist, diamond expert and watch-maker, and co- owner of Tafts Jewelry Store in Brockton. He was a member of the Elks, Masons and the VFW. He served during WWII in the United States Army Air Force as an instructor in the technical schools in Denver, CO, and also as a trouble-shooter and inspector at many of the air bases in the United States, before going overseas in 1944. Virginia Keating

Virginia M. (Ellis) Keating, 96, of Mansfield, passed away April 12, 2013. She grew up in Mansfield and was a 1934 graduate of Mansfield High School. Virginia worked for 10 years till 1943 as a Telephone Operator at the former New England Telephone Co. Mrs. Keating was a devout Catholic and a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield. David Govini

David Vincent Govoni, 60, died in his Wrentham, home on Sunday, April 21, 2013. He graduated from Silver Lake High School with the class of 1971. He went on to graduate from Bridgewater State College with the class of 1976. Mr. Govoni was the New England Regional Sales Manager for Ocean Beauty Seafoods based out of Seattle since 2007 and he had previously been the New England Regional Sales Manager for Vita Food out of Chicago. Robert Golloway
