William E. Clark Sr., 79, of South Easton, died May 14 2013. He was a resident of South Easton for 40 years. Mr. Clark was an Airman 2nd Class in the U.S. Air Force and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Grace Company in Canton for 25 years before retiring in 1996. John Mims
John Bryan Mims, 82, of Norton, passed away April 24, 2013. From 1954 to 1959, he served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander stationed on the aircraft carrier the USS Shangri-La. A resident of Norton for the past 50 years, Mr. Mims was the founder and owner of Bryan Manufacturing, Inc., where he designed and manufactured plastic packaging, in Norton. Bryan was a member of the Norton Land Preservation Society, the Norton Historical Society, and the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion. For the full obituary click here.
Cecile Zito
Cecile B. (St. Pierrre) Zito, 91, of Attleboro, died May 10, 2013. Zito was born in Attleboro to John B. and Alice B. (Blais) St. Pierre. She and her husband were the owners of South Main Oil Co. for more than 40 years. She has been a lifelong resident of Attleboro and a parishioner of the former St. Joseph Church. Joan Donovan
Joan M. Donovan, 92, of Wrentham, died May 8, 2013. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed her role as a mom and as a homemaker. She was a talented artist and musician who loved to play piano, knit, crochet, and to hook rugs. On a personal journey dealing with Lewy Body Dementia, she had been hopeful of research that might relieve those who suffer with the disease. For the full obituary click here.
Marilyn Rodman
Marilyn Rodman, 79, of Canton, died May 13, 2013. She was the wife of Don Rodman, president of Rodman Ford Sales, Inc. of Foxborough. She served on the Canton School Committee for 22 years working. Marilyn also helped create or promote the Employee Assistance program for Teachers, the Read-Aloud Program, the Academic Olympics, and the Canton Sports Foundation. She was passionate in her work with the Rodman Ride for Kids, the Marilyn Rodman Theatre for Kids which to date has sent over 50,000 inner city kids at risk to Broadway shows, and many other community based philanthropic endeavors.
