Men's Track & Field Places 17th Overall At Roadrunner Invitational
Fear, Sharma place fifth overall in respective events.

The Wheaton College men's track and field team turned in a 17th place performance at the Roadrunner Invitational, hosted by Ramapo College, Saturday afternoon.
Senior Sam Fear (Bath, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy) finished fifth in the high jump clearing a height of 6-feet and 0.75-inches.
Sophomore Ben Sharma (Lexington, Mass./Lexington) ranked fifth overall in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.81-seconds and ninth overall in the 400-meter hurdles in 58.85-seconds.

In the 4x400-meter relay, Fear teamed up with freshmen Sam Miklovich (Gray New Gloucester, Maine/Gray New Gloucester) and Alexei Spinu (New Cannon, Mass./New Cannon) and sophomore Nathan Sheridan (Albuquerque, N.M./Desert Academy) for ninth place overall in 3:33.25.
Spinu led three other Lyons in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.70 for 15th place overall among 63 competitors. Sophomore Harry Bachrach (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Beaver Country Day) was 22nd overall in 4:17.77, classmate John Green (Quincy, Mass./North Quincy) came in 24th overall with a time of 4:18.98 and senior Michael Richard (Chicopee, Mass./Holyoke Catholic) clocked a time of 4:25.64 for 36th place overall.

In the 400-meter run, Miklovich posted a time of 55.31-seconds for 32nd place overall among.
Bachrach paced Wheaton's mid-distance group in the 800-meter run as he ranked 37th overall in 2:05.68. Sheridan checked in at 38th overall with a time of 2:05.79 while Green was 44th overall (2:08.19).
Manhattan won the Roadrunner Invitational with 160.50 points while Temple University was second (108) and Army Prep came in third (92). Ramapo placed fourth overall with 81 points and Southern Connecticut State University ranked fifth (38). Wheaton returns to action on Saturday, April 13 at the Brown University Invitational.
