Norton Firefighter to Graduate From State Firefighting Academy
Nearly 70 firefighters will graduate from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy on March 29 in Stow.

Several dozen firefighters, including Jonathan Drobnis from Norton Fire Department, will graduate from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy in late March, according to a press statement from the academy.
Drobnis is among the 68 members graduating from the Recruit Firefighter Training Class no. 198 at 1:30 p.m. March 29 at the Department of Fire Services, 1 State Road, Stow.
In addition to Norton, graduates represent the 40 departments of Auburn, Bedford, Bellingham, Braintree, Chelmsford, Concord, Danvers, Dracut, East Longmeadow, Framingham, Franklin, Gardner, Gloucester, Greenfield, Holyoke, Hopedale, Leominster, Lexington, Longmeadow, Lowell, Lynn, Mansfield, Mashpee, Melrose, Middleborough, Nahant, North Andover, Northampton, Orleans, Plainville, Salem, Somerville, Stoughton, Wayland, Westfield, Westford, Winchester, Winthrop and Woburn.

Invited guests include: guest speaker Marshfield Chief Kevin Robinson, members and chiefs of departments.
State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director Edmund Walker will be presenting the graduation certificates, according to the statement.
