Norton Man Charged in Attleboro Stabbing
A 24-year-old Norton resident has been charged for a stabbing in Attleboro on Monday morning

A Norton man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Attleboro that happened Monday morning.
Sean T. Sullivan, 24, was arrested at around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning on the front lawn of a his ex-girlfriend’s home on Bishop Street.
Police allege that Sullivan woke up his ex-girlfriend by tapping on her bedroom window with a knife. Investigators say he then got in an argument with her father and stabbed him in the hand.

Sullivan suffered a cut on his arm during the confrontation. The woman’s father was also treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
Police say the woman told them that Sullivan put his hand through the screen window and tried to unlock it before going to the front door where the altercation with her father happened.

Sullivan is being held without bail. He has been charged with armed burglary, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, carrying a dangerous weapon, being disorderly, and disturbing the peace.
Sullivan has plead not guilty to the charges.
