The town of Norton is holding a hazardous waste disposal day on May 11. The event, starting on Saturday at 9 a.m. and going until 1 p.m., will take place at the Town Hall parking lot on 70 East Main St., rain or shine. The Norton Board of Health, which is sponsoring the event, has asked neighbors and residents combine items as the BOH is charged per vehicle for the disposal and their funding is limited. Residents are reminded that most if not all the materials that can be disposed are of a residential nature, and industrial waste will not be accepted.
