Obituary: Bradford W. Bailey Sr.

Bradford W. Bailey Sr., 58, of Norton passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Providence at the Home and Hospice Care Center of Rhode Island.

Born in Attleboro Nov. 17, 1954, he was son of Marolyn G. (Dixon) Bailey of Norton and the late Richard E. Bailey.

Brad grew up in Norton and was a 1971 graduate Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton.

For 17 years, Brad had worked as a Union Boiler Maker in Quincy. He had previously been employed as a carpenter and was a former member of the Carpenters Union.

A resident of Norton for most of his life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Bradford W. Bailey Jr. and his wife Vicki of Mansfield; his grandson Cameron Bailey of Mansfield; as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard D. Bailey Sr. 

Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Saturday, March 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will be private.
